So many toys, so little time: a whirlwind weekend of high-end headphones. . .CanJam NYC 2018 showcased the latest products and innovations in headphones and personal / portable audio and was the biggest headphone audio show in the United States!

The CanJam headphone extravaganza returned to NYC at the New York Marriott Marquis hotel in lovely Times Square, where the best of the best headphones were truly an ear opening experience. 

CanJam isn’t just a must-visit for headphone fans. It’s Mecca, the Boston Garden, the Holy Grail, all rolled into one.

For one special weekend in February, headphone aficionados from around the world gathered at the MASSIVE, 48-story Marriott Marquis in midtown Manhattan. All to try out the latest and greatest headphones, amps, and accessories.

I enjoy attending CanJam because, by and large, the other attendees appear to be having a really good time . . . people of a broader demographic than your typical US hi-fi show were there in numbers having fun. Of course, this mood carries over to the exhibitors as well and one seasoned hi-fi exhibitor told me he enjoys these events, too.

There was a huge line of anxious enthusiasts registering at opening time, [and] I was once again warmly greeted. There was a huge array of exhibitors showing off so many different products. Even if headphones are not your main thing, it is worth checking out; you will surely find something of interest among the wide variety of exhibitors.

Campfire Audio, Meze Audio, Sennheiser, 64 Audio, Audeze, Abyss, final, Ultrasone, MrSpeakers, 1More, and STAX will all unveil new headphones at CanJam NYC 2018, February 17-18, 2018.

CanJam [NYC 2017] drew one of the largest crowds of headphone enthusiasts and audio geeks to New York City. . .CanJam NYC 2018 is highly-anticipated and is expected to be bigger and better than last year. Here’s why:

Wow! That was hectic but fun. I got to meet some folks I’ve wanted to meet for a long time. . . purveyors of excellent audio. I also got to meet the brains behind Sony’s flagship MDR-Z1R and the WM1Z and WM1A, Naotaka Tsunoda and Tomoaki Sato.

This year’s CanJam London was my second, and seemed to be a resounding success. An impressive list of manufacturers signed up, which inspired a large crowd to show up. 

Across the last weekend of Wimbledon fortnight, the heart of London buzzed to the sound of personal audio, as CanJam came to town. . .CanJam shows are now rolling out across the world. . .

I first had a chance to listen to the Sonoma Acoustics Model One at the CanJam SoCal headphone show in Los Angeles in April. . .These headphones are intended for lounge-chair listening—perhaps while nursing a favored cocktail. [They offer] a truly impressive listening experience at a price well below what one would expect to pay for such a capable system.

At the famous exhibition of personal audio CanJam, held in London, the company Fiio presented a number of novelties. Of course, other companies are also the first to demonstrate their products at the exhibition, but Fiio event was clearly the largest.
